The Rochdale & District branch employs people in the Animal Centre and its five charity shops, assisted by volunteers.
Animal Centre Vacancies
Vacancies for Manager or Deputy Manager at the Animal Centre would normally be advertised, but Animal Care Assistant vacancies are unlikely to be advertised to due the large numbers of CVs received by the Manager.
It is advisable to have, or be studying for, Animal Care qualifications. Contact your local college for details of courses available.
Charity Shop Vacancies
Vacancies which occur in the shops are usually advertised in the local press.
Volunteering
Experience of animal care can be gained by applying to be a volunteer at the Animal Centre. By volunteering in our shops you can gain retail experience.
A downloadable Volunteer Application Form is available on the website, or call in at the Animal Centre during opening hours. Please ring the Centre on 01706 861897 to arrange a visit outside these times.
