17.05.10 - Children of St Barnabas, Shore donate to the animals
The young people of St Barnabas Church Brigade in Littleborough organised a collection and raised £100.

17.05.10 - She's done it! Chan's skydive is a success!
The jump finally took place on Sunday 23rd May. The skydive, planned to take place on 16th May by our Deputy Animal Centre Manager Chan Taylor was originally cancelled because of volcanic ash.

17.06.08 - Meg races to recovery. Heywood Advertiser 5th June 2008
Meg is on the road to recovery after an operation to amputate her damaged leg.

17.06.08 - Meg the puppy has been adopted
When Meg's story became national news, Rochdale Animal Centre was inundated with offers of a home. Nearly 50 people were willing to adopt her from all over the country. Despite having a leg amputated she has made a brilliant recovery and now has a new mum

Meg was operated on on Tuesday and her damaged hind leg was removed. She is now well enough to play, with foster mum Jean keeping a close eye on her.
