Ellie & Leo
International Superstars! Huge Thanks to all their supporters !!!

ELLIE needs an operation to help restore her sight, but at the moment her 'eyes' are in the form of LEO - a new and hopefully lifelong friend. Have at look at the attached article from the M.E.N. (our website photo also courtesy of M.E.N.)
Ellie was one of a litter of five King Charles spaniel pups taken into our care by one of our RSPCA Inspectors. All of the pups were in poor health and required considerable veterinary care. Ellie has particular problems with her eyes and needs a very expensive operation to restore her sight. This is the subject of our appeal. The operation and aftercare will cost in the region of £4000. We have had many donations including several from the United States. When we have reached the target and are able to go ahead with the operation, we will include a regular update on her progress. Ellie is a really gentle and loving puppy who did not deserve to be so badly treated. I am sure that she would want me to thank you for your kind thoughts and generous support. She now gets lots of loving care and we all hope that we can restore her sight so that she can really enjoy her life in the future.
Please remember that Ellie is only one of the wonderful animals that we help at the Rochdale Animal Centre. Any support that you can give to help us to continue our work for abandoned and abused animals will be really appreciated.
On behalf of Ellie and all her friends a really big Thank You!
